The Governor of Ohangwena Region, Sebastian Ndeitunga, shared his concerns over the management of youth projects funded through the Youth Credit Scheme.

His remarks came during a courtesy call from the National Council Standing Committee on Education, Science, ICT, and Youth Development, which is currently conducting oversight visits to the projects.

The committee is comprised of Bethuel Tjaveondja, Kosmas Katura, Jeremias Goeieman, Deriou Benson, and Sakeus Nangula.

"In some cases, you might be disappointed like me, on good initiatives, some initial money and budgets put in place, but the progress is failing to see the right of the sun. We have nobody to blame but ourselves as Namibians. Probably a lack of proper supervision, monitoring, and accountability, and these are things that we can no longer afford to continue tolerating," said Ndeitunga.
