The Swapo Party Vice President has directed all party members and supporters to conduct themselves in a peaceful manner ahead of the national elections on November 27. 

Addressing a rally at Keetmanshoop, Swapo Party's presidential candidate reminded party members to resist all provocations, emphasising that Swapo Party, as the winning team, has nothing to gain from confrontations.

"I don't want to lead a disunited county; I don't want to lead a nation that does not have respect, I don't want a nation that does appreciate themselves. Our task as Swapo Party members is to ensure that we carry forward the resilience, the leadership of the Swapo Party founded on our basic principles."

Dr. Nandi-Ndaitwah reiterated the party's commitment to empower youth and their participation in the country's national development. 

The Swapo Party, she said, remains dedicated to addressing social economic challenges as well as the impact of climate change through its targeted intervention government programs as outlined on the party's manifesto. 

Targeted Basic Income Grants and universal health are on the cards, not to mention the already substantive investments in the education and health sectors to improve the quality of citizens lives. 

"At this  stage, I call on all Swapo Party leaders, members, supporters, and sympathisers  to work hard  and  to make sure that ||Kharas Region is claim back to Swapo, the history of the Swapo Party runs deep and wide through us not to be closer to the people of ||Kharas Region."

Swapo Party welcomed new members.

"The Cards are here, they have decided we are going back to Swapo Party, we're going  back home; we're going where we belong; we're going back to the party that nurtured us."

The Swapo Party Regional Coordinator for ||Kharas Region, Mathew Mumbala, expressed confidence the party will secure a landslide victory in the upcoming election.
