A three-day workshop on social and multimedia, organized by the Swapo Party Youth League (SPYL) in the ||Kharas Region, commenced today (Friday) in Keetmanshoop.
Thirty participants from all seven constituencies of the region are taking part in the workshop, which aims to equip young Swapo Party members with the skills to enhance the party's presence on digital platforms.
During the opening of the workshop, the Swapo Party leader for the ||Kharas Region, Gaudentia Khrone, reminded attendees of their responsibility to use social media effectively. She encouraged them to apply their newly acquired skills to advocate for and raise awareness of social issues.
"I urge you to amplify the party's message on digital platforms. Today marks the beginning of a sustainable partnership between the Karas SPYL and elder George Pieters, focused on creating leadership that empowers youth to become self-sufficient and responsible citizens of our beautiful Republic of Namibia. I encourage you to seize this opportunity to gain new skills in entrepreneurship, agronomic development, and sustainable resource management."
The multimedia workshop will run until Sunday.
