Community members and learners at Zadang Primary School in Kavango East finally had their dreams come true after MTC and the MVA Fund revamped their school.

For years, learners and teachers at the Zadang Primary School, located within the Mashare constituency, had to make do with two makeshift structures, accommodating about 30 learners in various grades taught by a single teacher.

Last year, the rural school pleaded for support from locals. The surroundings were not conducive to teaching and learning.

MTC and MVA Fund heeded the call, constructing three classrooms, a storeroom, and toilets for the learners.

Reading a speech on behalf of the Minister of Education, Kavango East Education Director Christine Shilima said partnerships between the Ministry of Education and other stakeholders are essential in addressing educational challenges.

MTC and the MVA Fund spent over N$1.5 million on the revamp.
