Namibia’s Major General Anne-Marie Nainda lost her bid for the Interpol Vice President for Africa position at the 92nd Interpol General Assembly, which ended today in Glasgow.
She was competing against Morocco and Benin, with Morocco taking the position.
The General Assembly saw police chiefs from 178 countries fill nine Executive Committee vacancies. Despite the result, Nainda continues as a delegate for Africa on the committee.
