Addressing a community meeting aimed at addressing an increase in gang violence in Keetmanshoop, ||Kharas Governor Aletha Frederick called on parents to reflect on the role of raising children. 

Governor Frederick shared that her office, in collaboration with a men's group, would provide counselling to gang members in an effort to help them transform their lives for the better.

Also addressing the police community engagement meeting were ||Kharas Regional Council Chairperson Joseph Isaack and Mayor of Keetmanshoop Annelize Knaus.
