The Governor of the Cunene Province, Gerdina Didalelwa along with her delegation paid a visit to the Ongos Valley and the Havanna High School, as part of the programme during their week-long visit to the capital.

They were accompanied by the Governor of the |Khomas Region, Laura McLeod-Katjirua, and officials from the Khomas Regional Council.

The group kicked the day off with a tour of the Ongos Valley, which is still under development and will be home to thousands of residents who will have access to schools, commercial centres, and businesses.

The group then proceeded to the Havana High School, where they were welcomed by the schools choir.

After a brief presentation on the school's background as well as how the school operates daily, they took a tour around the school to observe the classrooms, labs, the school library, and sports facilities.

Cunene Governor Gerdina Didalelwa expressed her admiration for the building's construction and maintenance.

Governor of the Khomas region, Laura McLeod-Katjirua, expressed optimism with the visit, stating that the programme is running smoothly.
