The Minister of Gender Equality, Poverty Eradication, and Social Welfare, Doreen Sioka, said she was inspired by three words, "Unite, and Eradicate Poverty," written for her by the late Founding President in his book Where Others Wavered.

During a tribute session at the ministry's offices in Windhoek, Sioka said those three words influenced her journey to becoming a minister.

Sioka reflected on Dr. Nujoma's commitment to eradicating poverty.
