A moment of silence was observed at the Sam Nujoma Drive, in front of the Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs, to honor the late founding president.

This tribute was fitting, as Dr. Nujoma served as the first commander in chief of the Namibian Defense Force and played a pivotal role in its formation.

During the procession, staff from the defense ministry, including both military and civilian personnel, gathered to pay their respects. They observed a moment of silence and sang songs of victory and freedom.
