President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah discussed the significance of having a female President, emphasising societal impact and the need for men and women to work together to develop the country.

Dr. Nandi-Ndaitwah says her first priority is job creation for the masses of over 500,000 jobs within the next five years at a budget of N$8.5 billion.

These will be in sectors such as construction, creative industries, agriculture, and tourism.

President Nandi-Ndaitwah is serving as a role model for young people, showing them that they should always follow their dreams. 

The President highlighted that leadership can be given to anyone, whether you are a woman or a man.

President Nandi-Ndaitwah acknowledges that the national challenges will be the same as those faced by her predecessors but noted that the perception of her actions might differ due to her gender.

President Nandi-Ndaitwah further highlighted that there is a need to amend some of the laws to address delays in tender processes.
