The Namutoni Environmental Education Centre, located in the Etosha National Park within the Oshikoto Region, plays a crucial role in Namibia's education sector.

Established in the early 1990s, the centre aims to raise awareness about environmental protection and the conservation of natural resources.

It is open to the public, including schools and tertiary institutions, providing opportunities to learn about the significance of the environment and the services offered by ecosystems.

Recognising its importance, the Minister of Environment, Forestry and Tourism, Indileni Daniel, donated office equipment and supplies to enhance the quality of environmental education for Namibian children and other visitors to this flagship park.

These items were acquired by her ministry through the Game Products Trust Fund at a cost of N$151,000.
