President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has arrived in Zambia's capital Lusaka for a working visit.

The plane carrying the Namibian President touched down at Kenneth Kaunda international airport in Lusaka Zambia this afternoon.

Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema led multitudes that thronged the airport to give the Namibian head of state a deserving welcome.

President Nandi-Ndaitwah was accorded a 21 gun salute by the second battalion of the first brigade of the Zambia Army.

She later proceeded to inspect a full guard of honour mounted in her respect.

Namibia's President is expected to hold bilateral talks with her Zambian counterpart tomorrow as part of her state visit.
