The NDF has announced that candidates who were previously declared medically fit in the regions but were left behind will now be required to report this Friday.

According to NDF Spokesperson Petrus Shilumbu, the individuals will undergo a medical examination before being cleared for training.

Colonel Shilumbu said among the ten hopeful trainees who are camped at the Osona Military Base, only one was selected. 

The protesters informed nbc News on Friday that they were hoping that some of those who were selected would drop out, and they would be selected to replace them.
