The Adventist Development and Relief Agency Namibia (ADRA), along with stakeholders from the Ministry of Environment and Tourism (MEFT), the Katima Mulilo Town Council, and the University of Namibia, commemorated World Environment Day, celebrated annually on June 5th.

They hosted a two-day Zambezi Youth Environmental Expo under the theme “Together for a Plastic-Free and Climate-Resilient Future.”

The expo included a tree planting campaign aimed at restoring land and promoting ecosystem care, along with other key youth-led awareness initiatives and action plans.
