The 11th edition of the annual "NBC Battle of All" ended with new champions crowned after two days of intense competition at the Eros Primary School Sport Field over the weekend.
This year's event saw a record entry with 44 companies participating in the competition.
In football, the Ministry of Justice and Labour Relations took home the championship title after beating Namibia Breweries Limited in a lottery of penalties, with Road Authority finishing in third place.
On the volleyball court, the top spot went to Namwater. Namibia Airport Company came in second, and Namibia Training Authority settled for third place.
The NAC had also been the runner-up in last year's tournament.
August 26 were the big winners, dethroning defending champions NBC Tug Masters in Tug of War. NamRA picked up the runner-up spot while the defending champions, NBC, had to settle for third place for their trouble.
Dinapama won the netball crown as they also dethroned last year's winners, NBC.
Second place went to the Ministry of Health and Social Services, and NamRA took third place.
NamPower successfully defended their title after beating Unam in the Darts final to take the bragging rights for the second consecutive year. NAC took third place.
This year's shifts in standings showcased not only the growth of the tournament in size and intensity but also the emergence of new competition.
With the prize-giving ceremony only held on Sunday because of time, the organizers promised to improve on time management while also promising a bigger, better, and improved competition next year.
