Deputy Prime Minister Natangue Ithete highlighted the need for the Office of the Prime Minister to compel all ministries to ensure that recommendations from Parliament are implemented.
Ithete pointed out that all reports that are approved by Parliament ought to be sent to various ministries for action.
"Being the second in charge, in terms of supervising ministers and so on, I think the office of the Prime Minister needs to issue a directive to all ministries that they should implement all directives that come from Parliament; otherwise, we are making this house irrelevant."
Ithete emphasised the futility of making decisions without presenting them to executives for implementation.
He said that this devalues the house and should not be tolerated.
