The government of Japan, through its Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects, handed over four classrooms at Martin Ndumba Secondary School in the Kavango East Region.
The classrooms are valued at over N$940,000.

Some schools grapple with overcrowding, while others operate in makeshift structures.
Director of Education in the Kavango East Region, Cristine Shilima, shared that the government has prioritised education as a key pillar of economic development and social progress.
Martin Ndumba Secondary School accommodates 834 learners.
The Inspector of Education in the Mukwe Circuit, Theofillius Kadhimo, appreciated Japan's efforts.
The Embassy of Japan also recently signed a new hostel project at Mururani in the Kavango West Region.
