The Ministry of Gender Equality and Child Welfare has officially launched its strategic plan for the period 2025 to 2030.
This plan is designed to advance equal opportunities for women and men, as well as for girls and boys, while strengthening child protection services.
It is anchored on four key pillars: gender equality and community empowerment; childcare and protection; institutional and operational excellence; and stakeholder coordination and advocacy.
Furthermore, the plan aims to enhance the well-being of children, improve service delivery standards, address gender-based violence, and undertake a comprehensive review and reform of policies and legislation about gender equality and child welfare.
