President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has called on Swapo Party members to deliver victory for the party in the November elections. 

She wants them to maintain the chain to ensure perfect synergy in service delivery. 

The President made the remarks during the Swapo Party rally held at Eemwandi Domission in the Engela Constituency. 

Nandi-Ndaitwah, who is also the Swapo Party President, stated that she will ensure those elected are held accountable in accordance with the party's manifesto to ensure that all constituencies and towns benefit from various developmental agendas. 

She reminded them that all councillors are expected to implement various development projects without fail. 

"I am therefore calling upon you, fellow Namibians, to rally behind the Swapo Party candidates, the men and women who understand our national vision, who are ready to serve with humility and dedication. Your vote is your power. Use it to keep Namibia moving forward." 

Nandi-Ndaitwah promised that the Swapo Party will continue to steer the Namibian ship towards prosperity for all its inhabitants and benefit from mining, agriculture, sports, youth empowerment, quality education and training, among others. 

Swapo Party members, as part of the same mission, should also assist her in making her job smoother to bring development to the grassroots level and ensure that decisions made at the top structures are felt by them.

"I now surrender myself in your hands for you to make my administration work by giving me the people whom I have given to you as candidates for regional councils and local authorities throughout the country. You deliver them, and I will deliver to you."

This is the president's second visit to Eemwandi Dominion since 1973, roughly 52 years ago, when she and other Swapo members held a rally before independence.
