The Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security plans to use N$8.1 billion to respond to present demands while building a stronger system for the future.

Minister Lucia Iipumbu stated that the budget will support ongoing operations, including anti-poaching efforts, the rehabilitation of inmates, the distribution of identity documents, and infrastructure development.

"We are requesting the new budget so that we can continue with our activities and anti-poaching operations, and of course we will continue with the construction of our ongoing projects, including the Greenwell Matongo police station in the Zambezi Region, the police village, the Katutura Police Station, etc."
