Commissioner Andreas Shilelo addressed his first mass parade as the new Oshana Regional Police Commander at the Oshana Police Headquarters following his transfer from the Zambezi Region.

Commissioner Shilelo takes over leadership of the Oshana Police from Naftal Sakaria, who has been transferred to Windhoek.

Addressing officers, newly recruited cadet constables who are on their three-month probation, police reservists and senior commanders, Shilelo called on all members of the force to remain disciplined, professional and committed to serving the public with integrity.

He urged officers to work together as a united team in the fight against crime and to strengthen public confidence in the Namibian Police Force.

The Regional Commander also stressed the importance of professionalism and customer care, encouraging the cadets to be polite and respectful and provide quality service to members of the public, particularly those seeking assistance at police charge offices.
