The Father Tjijombo St. John's Faith Mission in Windhoek organised a candlelight remembrance in honour of the life of the late Archbishop Petrus Tjijombo.

Archbishop Tjijombo died in 2023 on 16 July, and the candlelight ceremony formed part of activities to commemorate his life and legacy.

Family members, friends and church leaders paid tribute to a man remembered by many as the founder and spiritual father of the church.

Bishop Uazenga Ngahage reflected on the late archbishop's teachings; he said the archbishop preached in the bushes before his ministry grew.

He described Archbishop Tjijombo as a servant of God whose ministry touched the lives of many.
