Four people have died while 17 others have been injured in a road accident on the Okahandja-Otjiwarongo road, approximately 65 kilometers from Okahandja this morning.

A 16-seater bus belonging to Holms Construction, with 15 employees travelling from Okahandja, collided with a Ford Bantam with six occupants. 

Otjozondjupa Police Community Liaison Officer Maureen Mbeha said the driver of the Ford Bantam was moving in a zigzag motion, resulting in a head-on collision.

Three people from the Ford Bantam, including the driver, died on the spot, while the one passenger from the Quantum also died instantly.
