Team Namibia, which is set to represent the country at the WorldSkills Competition in Shanghai, China, has urged young Namibians to consider pursuing careers in technical and vocational education and training (TVET).

They say that with discipline and determination, one cannot go wrong.

Their journey has involved long days of training, early mornings, difficult tasks, mistakes, corrections and moments of self-doubt.

However, these are the challenges, they say, that have strengthened the team, with experts pushing and encouraging them throughout the preparation.

They have pledged to carry the Namibian flag with pride, represent the country with dignity and give their best, regardless.

Despite coming from different regions, institutions and skills, the team says it will stand united as Namibia on the international stage.
