In an effort to support the country's tourist revival initiatives and to promote domestic tourism, the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (nbc) is premiering a brand new travel show titled "Ngatu Kaende"
The first episode will air this Sunday at 17H00.
Ngatu Kaende, which means 'let's go' in Otjiherero, follows two young Namibians travelling cross-country and visiting tourist hotspots and dipping into local cuisine and culture.
Model Leena Shipwata and award-winning musician KP Hoveka are the hosts of the show.
It is no secret that the COVID-19 pandemic has brought the tourism industry to its knees, and the show is intended to inspire Namibians to get on the road.
The show was produced by nbc in collaboration with Old Mutual and Namibia Wildlife Resorts.
The nbc was recently awarded the most loved brand in Africa, and Ngatu Kaende is a reflection of the organisation's commitment towards bringing Namibians exciting content.
