The |Khomas Regional Council has managed to provide service to its people and will continue improving the living conditions of its residents despite rising challenges such as unemployment and the lack of basic services due to increased urbanization.

The Chairperson of the |Khomas Regional Council, John Moonde, says a budget of N$13 million was availed to implement 19 projects, of which six have been completed.

To combat unemployment, the council has set aside N$2.5 million for small and medium-sized businesses.

Another $500,000 was set aside for the Winter Safety Net Program, which will distribute blankets to people in need across all constituencies.
