As World Radio Day was celebrated around the world on Monday, a local event also took place at Nbc Radio in Windhoek. 

It was organised by UNESCO, in partnership with the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology. Among the aspects that require special attention on occasions like these is sport broadcasting.
