Former Swapo Party Chief Representative to Germany, Obed Emvula, has been conferred an official funeral.

Emvula died on January 1.

South Africa's case to end Israel's allegation of genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip has started at the International Criminal Court in the Hague.

The case that was launched by South Africa in December calls for an end to alleged genocidal acts by Israel and the people of Gaza.

Namibia says it would welcome the indication of provisional measures by the International Court of Justice for Israel to immediately comply with its obligations.
 

Family members of 18-year-old Malaka Sipilikita, who was shot by an unknown person at Rundu, are still seeking closure as the investigation is still ongoing.

The residents claim that waste has not been collected for the past 2 to 3 years.
