The Central Procurement Board of Namibia (CPBN) has decided to cancel the controversial medical supplies tender for the Ministry of Health and social services.

Vice President Nangolo Mbumba says Namibia has taken a giant leap forward in its pursuit of excellence in diplomacy with the opening of the School of Diplomatic Studies, launched by the Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation in collaboration with the University of Namibia.

PyCon Namibia has opened its eighth edition of the country's annual Python software programming conference. 

PyCon Namibia's main aim is to create programming career opportunities for Namibians.

The conference returns after a two-year hiatus owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.

He made the remarks when he received a donation of school stationery for needy children from the Grassroot Hope Foundation.

The First Lady of the United States of America, Jill Biden, has arrived in Namibia for a two-day official visit.

Dr. Biden touched down at the Hosea Kutako International Airport this afternoon.
