Namibia Wildlife Resort (NWR) launched a 24-hour virtual tourism opportunity of Okaukuejo Waterhole in Etosha National Park.

NamWater has spent more than N$1billion on new water infrastructure on the west coast since 2005, which has reduced water interruptions to the coastal areas.

About 251 out of 276 communal land appeal cases have been resolved since the Communal Land Reform Act of 2002 was operationalised in 2003, with 25 unresolved appeal cases in process.

Agriculture, Water and Land Reform Minister, Carl Schlettwein has dismissed rumours that government intends to ban the export of weaners on the hoof. Schlettwein says the government is re-looking at the entire export of raw meat.

The inflation rate currently standing at 4,48% could rise to 6% this year. Should that happen, Namibians will be paying more for food, transport and fuel, than at present.
