President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has conveyed her sympathies to the citizens and the government of Botswana, along with the grieving family, regarding the death of the former Ambassador of Botswana to the United Nations, Legwaila Joseph Legwaila.

Freelance sign language interpreter at the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation, Peter Mbwale, was buried on Saturday at Omindaba village in Omusati's Ruacana Constituency.

The |Hai-|Khaua clan, a sub-tribe of the Nama people, has appointed a new deputy Gaob. 

Senior traditional councillor of the |Hai-|Khaua Traditional Authority, Michael Haman, was installed into the position during a ceremony held at Berseba on Saturday. 

The Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRA) has confirmed the reappointment of its Commissioner, Sam Shivute, following an announcement made on Friday.
