The police at Karasburg are investigating a case of culpable homicide following the death of a 17-year-old boy injured during a football match.

The deceased has been identified as Bradley Waterboer, a Grade 9 learner at Lordsville Secondary School. Waterboer's next of kin are aware of his death.

Some residents of Keetmanshoop marched to the State Hospital, demanding the reinstatement of well-known medical Doctor, Refanus Kooper. 

Dr. Kooper left public service to go open up a private practice in the Hardap Region.

The ||Kharas Regional Council has allocated N$ 150 000 to rehabilitate the entrance of Keetmanshoop State Hospital.
