Namibia is participating in the 17th U.S.-Africa Business Summit, which started today in Angola and will run until the 25th.

European Union Ambassador Ana Beatriz Martins says the EU and Namibia relations have evolved significantly over the year in a way that stimulates economic growth and creates jobs for both.

Acting High Commissioner of Malaysia to Namibia, Mohamad Rameez Yahaya, announced his country's commitment to assist Namibia in addressing the drought situation.

Malaysia will contribute over N$700,000 towards relief efforts.

Yahaya said this during Malaysia's 61st National Day celebration.

The new Heads of Mission representing France and Venezuela reaffirmed their commitment to enhance collaboration across several key sectors. 

The Ambassadors said this as they presented their Letters of Credence to President Nangolo Mbumba at State House today.

Namibia and Sierra Leone have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen their bilateral and multilateral agreements, with a focus on cooperation in key areas such as agriculture, tourism, infrastructure, trade and investment, and marine resources.
