The Rundu Sports Stadium was filled to capacity on Saturday as mourners from Kavango East and West gathered to pay tribute to Namibia’s late Founding President, Dr. Sam Nujoma.
On Friday, residents of Ohangwena, parts of the Oshikoto region, and surrounding areas gathered at the Eenhana Sport Stadium to honour the late founding President, Sam Nujoma.
The enduring legacy of the late Founding President, Dr. Sam Nujoma, is evident as Namibia and other nations continue to come together in his honour.
The Minister of Gender Equality, Poverty Eradication, and Social Welfare, Doreen Sioka, said she was inspired by three words, "Unite, and Eradicate Poverty," written for her by the late Founding President in his book Where Others Wavered.
