ECN registers over one million voters

The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) has surpassed the one million mark in voter registration.

Those who have not registered yet only have nine days to register, and the date will not be extended.

The general voter registration, which started on the 3rd of June, ends next week Thursday.

National Assembly goes on recess

The National Assembly has announced a recess period from April 30th to June 4th, 2024, marking a break in the 9th Session of the Seventh Parliament.

The lower house will be on recess from tomorrow until the 4th of June. 

ECN engages Omaheke residents on voters' registration

Officials of the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) are engaging stakeholders in the Omaheke Region on the general voter registration process.

This is in preparation for the general registration of voters from June 3 until August 1, ahead of the national elections on November 27.
