The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, in partnership with the Swapo Party Women's Council, hosted a two-day mental health workshop in Otjiwarongo aimed at raising awareness and strengthening community understanding of mental health issues.

The Legal Assistance Centre (LAC) has, over the past 35 years, done more with less to protect human rights.

However, the Centre, which depends on donor funding, is finding it difficult to reach out to all citizens who are unable to access or afford legal aid.
