The Otjiwarongo Municipality Fire and Emergency Services Division has demonstrated new firefighting technology known as the "grass blower" aimed at improving response to bush and grass fires.

The demonstration took place during the Standard Bank Biomass Fair and Industry Conference in Otjiwarongo.
