Windhoek inmates sue over study restrictions

Eighteen inmates at the Windhoek Correctional Facility have taken the Commissioner-General of the Namibian Correctional Service to court, saying decisions taken by new officials at the facility have made it difficult for them to continue with their tertiary studies.

Namibian Police extends nationwide crime prevention operation

The Namibian Police has extended a nationwide crime prevention operation, code-named “Walya Shakakodhi Tala Pombada".

The operation was conducted from 30 January to 2 February across all 14 regions and was extended by the police chief, Lieutenant General Joseph Shikongo, on Tuesday.
