The Inspector General of the Police, Lieutenant General Joseph Shikongo, is visiting various policing areas and community members, aimed at educating the public on the police's mandate.

The Ministry of Gender Equality, Poverty Eradication, and Social Welfare held an awareness workshop in Rundu aimed at increasing knowledge about the Social Protection Policy at the regional level.

The Namibia National Teachers Union (NANTU) has inaugurated its regional office, valued at N$6.2 million, at Nkurenkuru in the Kavango West Region.

The office was funded through the N$100 monthly contribution of NANTU members in the region.
