Amutse voices concerns over skilled worker shortage in mining and energy

The Minister of Industries, Mines and  Energy (MIME), Modestus Amutse has expressed concerns over shortage of skilled  workers in both the mining and energy sectors. 

This, the minister asserted, could hinder the government's efforts to maximum  value for the country.

Keetmanshoop court sentences woman to 10 years for killing toddler

The Keetmanshoop Regional Court has sentenced 24-year-old Flora Van Kent to 10 years’ imprisonment for stabbing to death a nineteen-month old baby.
 
Van Kent, a mother of two, inflicted two stab wounds to the baby girl, causing her death.
 

Detective denies bias in Namdia heist investigation

Court dismisses discharge bid by suspended NAMDIA employee

The Keetmanshoop Magistrate's Court has dismissed a discharge application brought by the suspended NamDia employee Charles Rhoman. 


Rhoman's legal representative, Theo Carolus, applied for the release of his client following an arrest during the early hours of Wednesday.
