Namibians honour late President Geingob

Six months after the death of President Hage Geingob, who would have celebrated his 83rd birthday today, Namibians gathered at Heroes' Acre for a remembrance ceremony.
 
Dr. Geingob, Namibia's third president, died on February 4th this year.

A man died while waiting for medical assistance at the Katutura Health Centre in Windhoek on Monday night. 

The family and sympathisers present at the clinic have expressed disappointment and concern over the handling of the situation.

As the family of the late President Geingob continues to receive condolences and tributes, the Ovambanderu community, led by Eben Nguvauva, also extended its condolences to the former First Lady and the late President's family.

Nguvauva says the president's death was painful and shocking to them.
