SME Compete underscores importance of entrepreneurship

BoN amends regulations on loan-to-value ratios

The Bank of Namibia (BoN) has released amended regulations on loan-to-value ratios to stimulate property investment and support economic recovery.

Under the new regulations, the loan-to-value (LTV) ratios for additional property purchases have been further relaxed.

Borrowers seeking a mortgage loan for a second residential property will no longer need to provide a deposit.

For third and subsequent residential properties, a 10% deposit is now required.

OPM revises Customer Service Charter

The customer service charter is considered a significant milestone in public services as it integrates the functions and inputs of the offices within the public sector. It is against this background that the office of the Prime Minister launched the revised version of the customer service charter.

NFC, Moon Valley Films embark on location familiarisation tour

The Namibian Film Commission (NFC), in partnership with Moon Valley Films, will embark on a location familiarisation tour aimed at promoting Namibia as the perfect film destination for international films.

World-renown location managers, who play a pivotal role in the selection of filming destinations, are in Namibia on a ten-day tour to familiarise themselves with the different landscapes Namibia has to offer.

The aim was also to promote Namibia as a filming destination by providing a real-life experience.
