Otjozondjupa learners receive stationery through Standard Bank Grant

Learners from less privileged backgrounds in the Otjozondjupa Region have received stationery to support their studies through the Standard Bank Namibia Scholarship Grant.

In order to meet the needs of the scholars, Standard Bank donated stationery, toiletries and transport fares to 24 learners.

The Otjozondjupa Region is in dire need of school furniture, additional textbooks, and stationery for a smooth transition to the platoon system and for quality education.

The budget indicates that the education directorate requires more than three million dollars to service the region's circuits.

The Gobabis Constituency Office has donated stationery to schools within the constituency, valued at more than N$130,000.

Each primary school received stationeries worth N$10,000, while high schools received donations worth N$20,000 each.
