Otjozondjupa Police urge security companies to collaborate

Otjozondjupa Police Commander Philip Hidengwa called on security companies to work hand in hand with the police.

Commissioner Hidengwa made an appeal during a meeting with the heads of security companies at Otjiwarongo. 

 There are about 25 security companies registered in Otjiwarongo. 

Law enforcement conducts night patrol in Windhoek

Law enforcement officials carried out a patrol in Windhoek on Friday night. 

The almost 500-strong operation was led by Police Chief Lieutenant General Joseph Shikongo, the Windhoek City Police and officials from immigration and NamRA.

The Namibian Police, together with other mourners, joined the family of the late Police Chief Inspector Riche Karel ||Naobeb in Otjiwarongo to lay him to rest.

||Naobeb, who was the Head of NamPol's VVIP Presidential Escort Division, died last week while on an official mission in Rundu, aged 49.
