Not only that but there was diversity in both beauty pageant contestants and those on the carpet.

Over a hundred residents of Katutura in the capital, through a committee, are demanding from the City of Windhoek that they write off their water and electricity debts.

The committee also wants the removal of Red Force as a debt collector.

ASEZ WAO hold clean up campaign in Havana Informal settlement

The World Mission Society of God Young Adult Workers Volunteer group held its environmental clean-up campaign in the Havana Informal settlement in Windhoek.

More than 40 young adults gathered to participate in the ASEZ WAO volunteer activity. 

The group picked up trash amounting to 50kg. 

Woman shoots herself at Pionierspark Engen Service Station

A 38-year-old woman is in critical condition at a Windhoek hospital after she allegedly shot herself in the head with a pistol this afternoon.

The police say the incident happened at an Engen Service Station in Pionierspark.

Children should cultivate a reading culture- McLeod-Katjirua
