Leaky sewage sparks fear of mass outbreak of water-borne disease at Max Makushe SSS

Breadcrumb

The fear of an outbreak of water-borne diseases is a great concern to teachers and learners at the Max Makushe Senior Secondary School, as the institution is surrounded by sewage water.

The school has thus far recorded several cases among teachers, learners, and administrative and institutional workers.

The school's principal, Godfried Mukata, says the situation has become unbearable as both learners and teachers have endured the flooding of the sewage and the stench it emits for many years.
