Swapo Extraordinary Congress set for April 2025

The Swapo Party will elect its president to replace the late Dr. Hage Geingob at the Extraordinary Congress set to take place on April 19, 2025. 

This means that Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah remains the party's sole candidate for the November National Presidential Election.

Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah sworn in as Vice President

Deputy Prime Minister Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah is sworn in as Vice President of Namibia.

Nandi-Ndaitwah was appointed to the position by President Nangolo Mbumba, who was sworn in as President of Namibia following the death of Dr. Hage Geingob earlier this morning.

Swapo party successfully conducts 2023 rallies

The Swapo Party Vice President, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, says the party has successfully conducted its 2023 rallies, the last one being in the Oshana Region.

The closing rally at Oshakati was attended by scores of party members adorned in blue, red, and green.

Swapo Party bent on regaining lost votes in next election

The Swapo Party Vice President, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, has reiterated the need for the party's Khomas Region leadership and all members to rededicate themselves in unity to retain the votes lost in the previous election.
