Shamaturu residents will soon have a modern primary healthcare centre

Breadcrumb

The dream of Shamaturu residents in the Kavango East Region of having a modern primary healthcare centre will soon be realised.

This follows a decision to resume the construction of a clinic that was abandoned nine years ago.

The construction of the modern healthcare facility first commenced in 2012 but was abandoned abruptly as the tender was awarded to an inexperienced contractor.

Shamaturu residents have since been receiving healthcare services in a corrugated iron structure, which is not conducive.
