NAMRA donates confiscated medical equipment to MoHSS

The Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRA) has donated medical equipment that were confiscated, to the Ministry of Health and Social Services.
The equipment worth N$64 000 comprises hospital beds, stethoscopes and medical gowns. The medical equipment were among the goods confiscated from customers who failed to declare them after a 90-day grace period.

NamRA launches SADC electronic certificate of origin

The Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRA) has launched the SADC electronic certificate of origin.


The certificate is part of the Customs modernization process aimed at facilitating the easy movement of goods and ensuring that goods conform to the SADC Rules of Origin. 


The SADC Electronic Certificate of Origin is an electronic document which attests that the goods declared by an exporter conform to specific rules of origin.

Roads Authority takes road cleaning-up campaign to Zambezi Region

The campaign, known as "Operation Thunder", is a joint venture between the Katima Mulilo Town Council, the Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRA), the police, the Walvisbay Corridor Group and the Roads Authority.

The objectives of the campaign are to sensitise road users and communities against overloading, as well as the sustainable benefits of keeping the roads clean and the promotion of road safety awareness.

Speaking at the occasion, Divisional Manager of Transport Inspectorate, Richard Milinga, emphasised the importance of the campaign.
