The Ombetja Yehinga Organisation has launched a girls' soccer club at farm Uitkoms to keep young girls off the streets.

Most people, especially young girls, do not make it out of Uitkoms and the level of school dropouts is alarming.

They then often join others on the streets and indulge in alcohol and drug abuse, which in some instances can lead to pregnancy.

It is against this background that the Ombetja Yehinga Organisation (OYO) launched a soccer club to keep them busy.
